大家好,我的这次的测试评论是关于旭龙行的5A燕盏。
这是我第一次做燕窝,写得都是亲身体验,分享给大家,希望能让大家有所参考。
文章合计分成三部分。
第一部分,泡发燕窝和挑拣燕毛;
第二部分,枸杞冰糖木瓜奶燕盏的制作过程;
第三部分,橘子蜂蜜燕盏的制作过程。
本文会有很大的篇幅如何挑拣燕毛,是因为如果挑拣不干净的话,会影响食欲。
除了用镊子挑毛, 我还采用了一些小技巧,在这里会分享给大家。
The comments I share this time is about how to cook edible bird’s nest.
The following comments include three parts:
1. How to soak them and pick up small feathers;
2. How to cook edible bird’s nest with iced sugar papaya milk and wolfberry;
3. How to cook edible bird’s nest with honey.
I spent most paragraphs to explain how to easily and quickly pick up small feathers because if you cannot clean it completely, it will visually affect the appetite.
Expect for using a small tweezer, I find a new way.
一,到货
这是邮到的快递包,里面的试吃装是这样的。
虽然包装简单,但是燕窝完全不会被压坏,形状近乎完美。
我问过了买过其他店燕盏的同事,同事说旭龙行的燕窝很好,无论品相,颜色还是质地方面。
This is the package received with sample inside. Although the package looks simple, sample edible bird’s nest is still in good shape, near perfect. I asked some of my colleagues, who has bought many from other stores before. He told me that edible bird’s nest has excellent qualities from grade, color, texture perspectives.
二,泡发
虽然我只泡发了一只燕盏,但是足够吃两次的。
接下来你会看到一只燕盏能泡发出多少。
我先把燕盏浸在玻璃容器的清水中,刚开始是看不到细小的黑色燕毛的。
但是泡开之后,小燕毛就无法隐身了。
下图蓝圈里的都是小燕毛。
What I use is only one piece of edible bird’s nest, however, the amount is enough to enjoy for two times. You will see the amount in the following pictures. First, I put them in a glass bowl. You will not see the small black features until all of them are soaked in the water after a while. If you look further, all the circles highlighted in the picture are small edible bird’s nest.
泡了两个小后,燕盏在水中会慢慢散开。
我专门用手轻轻的将粘在一起的燕窝弄散开,这样隐藏在里面的燕毛会全部浮现出来。
After two hours, the dried edible bird’s nest will become looser and looser.
I gently separate them by hand so the hidden black features will come out and float on the surface.
然后我又准备里另外一个小玻璃碗装干净的燕盏。
先是将浮在上面的燕毛夹出去,然后过水反复几次。
Then I prepare the second glass bowl to have the cleaned ones.
I pick relatively big black features through tweezer then soak all of them in water again, repeating 3-4 times.
接着,我用一个漏网将燕窝过滤几遍,小的燕毛会被水冲走,不能被滤掉的会挂在漏斗的边缘
有没有看到下图里圈出来的毛毛?
反复冲几次,会干净好多。
Then I use a funnel to filter wet edible bird’s nest under water several times.
The tiny small features will be flow away by water, but the medium ones will stay at the edges of the funnel. See the circles in the picture. You can repeat several times till it is very clean.
最后一遍冲洗完毕,再放到强光灯下最后审查一遍,将挑好的燕窝放到另外一个小碗里。
然后再浸泡一个小时,虽然还会残留个别的细毛,但是燕窝已经基本很干净啦。
The last time is final check. This is done under strong table lamp so I can check thorough. I put all the clean ones in a small bowl with clean water for another one hour. You will see very few small features but most of them are clean enough.
小技巧:我用的漏网是过滤豆浆的,网眼不会太大也不会太小,非常适合过滤小杂毛。
Tip: This is the new way I invent to filter. I use funnel for soy bean milk, which net is not too big nor too small to filter.
上图这只最后泡发好的燕窝,是不是晶莹剔透?
可以把燕窝分为两份。
This is the final good and clean edible bird’s nest, isn’t it crystal clear? I make them two parts.
对燕窝有经验的朋友告诉我,旭龙行的燕窝品质很好,量很足,所以泡一只分三次喝都没有问题。
因此我决定把燕窝分成两份吃,这样里面的食材也会看得很清楚。
According to my experienced colleague, he said XLSEAFOOD has good quality and amount edible bird’s nest which means each one can be divided into three portions. I decide to make them two so the audience can see clearly what is inside through cooking process.
第一种:枸杞冰糖木瓜奶炖燕盏
所需材料:
木瓜(将木瓜去皮切成碗形),冰糖,枸杞子,杏仁奶,燕窝。
The first way to cook, you will need cleaned payara in a bow shape, I also use blueberry almond milk from Trader Joe’s, with iced sugar and wolfberry.
做法:
-
将燕窝,冰糖,枸杞子依次加入木瓜碗里
-
倒入适量杏仁奶后放到锅里蒸中火15分钟
-
改小火蒸30分钟
注意:水开之后,火不要太大,不然会影响木瓜和燕窝口感。
操作流程请见下图。
Add clean edible’s bird’s nest, iced sugar and wolfberry in the payara’s bowl in order, then add blueberry and almond milk. In the boiling water, steam them on stove for 15 minutes using medium heat then another 15 mins using low heat. Please do not over heat them, otherwise, it will affect the flavor and texture of payara and edible bird’s nest.
蒸好后是这样的(见下图),燕窝吸收了木瓜牛奶和冰糖的精华而变得有点黄了,但是燕窝的纤维质地还是一条一条完整的。

This is how it looks after cooking. The edible bird’s nest has absorbed the essence from payara, milk and iced sugar even getting a little yellow. But it still has clean texture. Would you like to try it?
备注:选用杏仁奶是为了增加美容效果,也可以用牛奶代替。
The reason I choose blueberry almond milk is for its nutrition food for skin. You can also use milk instead.
第二种做法:香橙蜂蜜炖燕窝
The second way is using honey and orange to cook with edible bird’s nest.
所需材料:
一个橙子,半份泡发好的燕盏,1/4碗的蜂王浆。
What do you need? An orange, half of the edible bird’s nest and ¼ bowl of honey ( I use royal jelly but you can honey).
做法:

先做橙碗。将橙子平切掉上和下部份,让橙子可以稳定地立在玻璃容器内。然后用勺子将橙子肉挖去一半,做成橙碗,橙肉留着备用。

将蜂王浆抹在橙碗底部,铺上燕窝,再将挖出去的半层橙子盖在上面,再抹上一层蜂王浆。

将橙碗到锅里中火蒸15分钟再转小火15蒸分钟,一共三十分钟。
Cut the top and bottom of orange, so the orange can stand in the bowl. Then use the big spoon to take out half of the orange out, and keep the second half. Spread 1/8 cup of honey, put edible bird’s nest then add the first half of the orange, adding honey on top.
燕盏吸收了橙子和蜂蜜的精华后,不但晶莹剔透,而且光泽很好。
蒸好后如下图:
In the boiling water, steam them on stove for 15 minutes using medium heat then another 15 mins using low heat. During this process, edible bird’s nest will absord nutrition from honey and orange. It is not only crystal clear and transparent but also with a lot of glories.
总结:
一定会有人会问,燕窝的口感是怎样的?
我的感受是:燕窝的口感有点像超精细粉丝,但是更有韧性。而且做好的燕窝没有任何其他味道。
泡发燕盏的时候,玻璃容器里有一股很淡的生鸡蛋的味道。
我问过客服为什么这个没有别人所说的霉味儿,客服坦诚地解释因为这个我用的是试用裝,如果是大包装,当大份量的燕盏在一起的时候味道就相对重一些。
但是我觉得每次不需要吃那么多,就一只两只足够,所以尝试后,已经消除了之前的顾虑。
这也是我第一次做燕窝,写得都是亲身体验,希望能对大家有所帮助。
一分价钱一分货,燕窝本就是珍品,尤其是印尼5A燕窝,珍品中的极品,所以我觉得是物超所值的。

Some audience may ask how does edible bird’s nest taste? In my opinion, I feel it tastes like very thin rice noodle but with more tenacity. Besides that, after cooking, it does not have any special smell. When I first try to soak them in water, the glass bowl smells like raw egg. I consulted with XLseafood customer service, why does not this have strong smell as other people mention? They explain honestly and sincerely that because I am using sample size – if this is a full size, with more edible bird’s nest together, it will smells a little stronger. However, I do think you do not need to eat that much every time, only 1-2 has sufficient nutrition. After trying this, I do not have any concerns any more.
This is also the first time I try to cook edible bird’s nest, every detail has test by myself and I hope this will be helpful to others. You pay what you get, edible bird’s nest is previous treasury, especially Grade 5A from Indonesia. I think it worths.
